Terms and Conditions
What You Need To Know When Booking
Training, home visits and video calls are services offered by Ruff Mutts. These terms and conditions relate to all training and home visits regardless of location.
The term ‘client’ is used in relation to the person who booked the appointment.
The term ‘handler’ is used in relation to the person accompanying the dog in the session.
The term ‘owner’ is used in relation to the legal owner of the dog.
For the purposes of the document we will use the term ‘handler’, which may or may not be the same person as the client and owner.

Rewards Based
We exclusively use rewards-based methods tailored to your dog’s needs. Please advise us if you are against the use of treats, toys, praise or other positive motivators.

Treats
The handler is responsible for providing food rewards; however, we may use our own food rewards also. Please advise any food allergies your dog has.

Responsibility
All dogs are the responsibility of the handler. Ruff Mutts are not liable for any loss or damage suffered by the handler.

Injury or Damage
The handler/client/owner indemnifies Ruff Mutts against any injury, damage or cost caused by the dog towards any property, person or other animal. This is to include, but is not limited to veterinary, medical, legal fees or loss of earnings.

Fear Free
We do not use or promote the use of fear inducing equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, slip leads or tightening training leads, tightening harnesses and e-collars. We reserve the right to cease any session without refund for non-compliance of this.

Children
Children are welcome to join a session when supervised by an appropriate adult with prior approval of Ruff Mutts.
